HOW DO I MAKE THE SWITCH TO PIANO ADVENTURES®?
The levels of Piano Adventures® are fairly consistent with other major methods. Because Piano Adventures® tends to be more demanding in music theory and musicianship, it is often best to place the student at the same level or even a level lower than the current one. This is particularly true if the student is having difficulties.

Keep in mind that the Piano Adventures® course begins with a Primer, and splits levels 2 and 3 into Level 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B. (That is eight levels from Primer to Level 5.) For this reason the student should not feel embarrassed if they are moving down a number. The review test and review piece that begin each level provide good benchmarks for assessing level of difficulty.
